I am in love with human beings and their response to life.

The meaning of creating something for me, the way I celebrate life with all glories and pain and share this is photographing. I am a storyteller and I make images to tell my truth, using reality as my canvas and transforming life in to art. This dance of order and chaos translated in an image.

I love people, and yes this is a statement. Some artists photograph trees, buildings, I photograph people. I am in love with human beings and their response to life.

I love photographing Mitzvahs.

There is something sacred about being inside a temple, watching a young soul stand before generations of tradition and take a step toward becoming responsible for who they are and who they will become.

To celebrate this milestone surrounded by friends and family- what more can I ask for?

Marcela’s photography documented our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah so beautifully. Her images captured the essence of the day from the emotions during the service to the incredible fun of the party. I cannot get enough of our photos and find myself looking through them often and smiling. We are in the process of planning our other daughter’s Bat Mitzvah and Marcela was the first person I booked; having her services is a MUST!
